The National Energy Administration publicly solicited comments on the “Blue Book on the Development of New Power Systems (Draft for Comment)”, during which 2030, 2045, 2060 as an important time node for the strategic goals of the construction of new power systems, to develop a new power system “three-step” development path: That is to accelerate the transformation period (from the current to 2030), the overall formation period (from 2030 to 2045), and the consolidation and improvement period (from 2045 to 2060), and promote the construction of a new power system in a planned and step-by-step manner.
This is also in line with China’s proposed two-carbon policy, that is, China has pledged to stop the growth of carbon dioxide emissions before 2030, peak and then slowly reduce. The mode of “new energy + energy storage air conditioning” can realize the coordinated operation of new energy and energy storage, greatly improve the power generation efficiency and reliable output level, and the combination of energy storage technology and renewable energy power generation, including hydropower, solar energy and other renewable energy generation, may be an important means to achieve the large-scale application of new energy in the future.
